Education Canada is Changing its Brand

“International students are ambassadors of their own countries while they are with us, and once they return home, they become ambassadors for Canada in their communities. We must continue to highlight internationally the excellence in Canadian education, and I am very pleased with today’s campaign to attract new students from around the world.”

- Hon. Chrystia Freeland, P.C., M.P., Minister of International Trade

Instructions for Authors: Advice from Weed Science Society of America

" Manuscripts submitted to scholarly journals are sometimes rejected not on the basis of their science, but because of poor readability. This is especially true of manuscripts submitted by nonnative speakers of English. The Weed Science Society of America does not provide language and copy editing services to authors prior to manuscript acceptance. "

Dr. Paul R. Krausman, the newly appointed editor-in-chief for the Journal of Wildlife Management has written his inaugural editorial encouraging researchers to sharpen their paper writing skills to ensure that their scientific efforts have a better chance to get published in a high quality journal.

This paper is free to all to read, and I would encourage you to have a look.  It is the mandate of ProofReadCanada.com to do just that; to assist students and professors alike to improve the chances of their high quality science to get good marks / get published / get noticed.

Evidence for Democracy

ProofReadCanada.com is committed to improving access to the best science the world has to offer.  We do it by assisting scientists who need help to get the English in their scientific works up to an academic standard.  We are not alone.  There are many other organizations committed to ensuring that this science is available to everyone.

One of these groups is Evidence for Democracy.  This is a collective of scientists who apply pressure on the Canadian government to allow federal scientists to pursue science in the public interest, freely publish and discuss their work in public.

ProofReadCanada.com agrees, and for this reason we have taken a part of our income for 2015 and made a donation to Evidence for Democracy to say 'thank you' for their hard work and help them continue.

Thank you for visiting ProofReadCanada.com, and good luck getting your work out there!
