Disclaimer regarding results

Proofread Canada endeavours to provide the best quality service for you, our clients.  While we are confident that your proofread document will look and read better for your intended audience, we we cannot guarantee you a better mark, a higher grade, an approved grant, a successful defense or an accepted manuscript.  Your ideas will remain, for better or worse, yours and we will do our best to make these ideas stand out clearly in English. We cannot change the ideas in your work.  Like everyone we are not perfect, but we strive to be. So if you are not satisfied with the result, please get in touch with us and we’ll do our best to address what you identify as the problem.

An important word about plagiarism.  Copying text directly from an uncredited or uncited source whether in print or online is plagiarism.  It is our assertion that students and others who know that their work will be proofread by a professional are less likely to plagiarize as they can reword citations with the confidence that if the re-wording is awkward or incorrect, the proofreader can fix it.  However, please don’t send us plagiarized material.  We will not reword proper English statements, so what you have copied directly from another source will stay that way in your returned document.  You retain the copyright on all submitted documents, so you retain the sole responsibility for any copyright violations identified in your documents.
